Expected to become a doctor, and did. Then dabbled in magic trying to cure the "uncurable" and boom!, the next thing you know the only bits left of you are a head, arms, and a single leg. Painful, but her new body glows so that's cool. Scars a bit funny though; should her insides be glowing as well...? Eh. Whatever. If they were harmful they'd have done some harm by now. Plus they make her look ruggedly handsome, so they're cool too.
