Originally an old model android, Arsenic was constantly bullied and drained of his energy by his fellow classmates who were more modern in design and technology. By the time that Radium had transferred to the school, Arsenic was barely able to operate. His battery supply would barely hold a charge, his ports were loose or broken, and his motions were stiff and rickety. Taken in by the transfer student droid, Arsenic was rebuilt into a more modern design (though slightly inferior to Radium himself) and now tags along with the much more advanced droid, albeit to his dismay.
In exchange for being rebuilt, and Radium's continued protection from being picked on, Arsenic has become something similar to Radium's personal back-up battery pack as well as being the guinea pig for testing any new programs or apps that Radium creates. Though his upgrades have advanced him far beyond what his initial capabilities were, Arsenic is still inferior to Radium and often ends up being short-circuited by the other's more advanced programming.
Arsenic is usually seen at Radium's side, connected to him with a power cable. When not grumping at his partner for short-circuiting him again, Arsenic is usually sitting with Radium in the hallway, either listening to music or exchanging files internally with his partner, or leaning against the taller droid in sleep mode to preserve his energy levels.
