Not the most chivalrous of fellows, Ambrose is a very old and disgruntled vampire at just over 700. Some would consider an old soul (if he had one). As a vampire of the old code Ambrose is out of touch with how the new world works, at some times even socially awkward, with a penchant for consuming his victims after a meal (nobody does that anymore).
Despite everything Ambrose can be quite unassuming and pleasant company given the chance, as he genuinely enjoys his pre-meal conversations.
