A speedy cheetah, but sometimes lazy, Kurai is one who rivals Harmony's quickness. The few times in which he doesn't lazy around, playing with animals he finds, it is spent searching for them in the Queztal Palace, trying to arrive with one before Harmony gathers a certain amount of seeds.
These small teasing fights about who is the fastest, is enjoyed by all the villagers. For some, it provides comedic relief for everyone to enjoy, and things are done much quicker. Rosa often thanks Harmony for this, because she cannot take how Kurai can spend his time lazying around when she puts so much work into finding pets for the villagers to enjoy.
