These rabbit-eared nursebots are employed by hospitals around the world to aid in all sorts of departments. "3D-456" used to work in the pediatrics at a big hospital, in a big city... But, like most robots, designs become obsolete and there's always call for upgrade. "3D-456" was decommissioned and sold off at auction as scrap, to help fund the purchase of his replacements.

He was bought up by a mechanic who installed some upgrades and did some reprogramming to make "3D-456" a more well-rounded, multipurpose robot... Thanks to some comflicting programme lines, the newly renamed 3D (or Dee for short), found himself with a little more personality than originally intended.

Now he lives with North and a run-away bunny-cyborg named Bubonic, does all the chores in the house, and likes to go shopping on Saturdays at thrift stores for new clothes. He was also recently hired on at Game Spot, a local video game store, where he works part-time to help feed his 'boys.'
