Six isn't that bad of a guy, despite the way the wasteland's hardened and shaped him. He's pretty kind hearted-- even to women-- which members of Caesar's legion aren't known to be. He's painfully loyal to Caesar, but has gone against him in some things, like the destruction of the Brotherhood of Steel. The only things that tie him to the Legion are his hatred for the NCR and his love for Caesar.
