If Enigma had to pick one to describe himself, he'd pick 'genius'. Or maybe 'talented', or 'charming'. Anyone else might pick arrogant, egotistical, or obnoxious. Enigma does have his good qualities, though, and manages to keep a handful of friends; though even Scarecrow and Hatter find him tiring. And he really is intelligent - just not as much as he imagines. He acknowledges only two equals in intelligence, one of whom is his friend Michiko.
