-Born poor, Basque had to turn to a life of crime mostly robbing jewelry stores. She always loved nature and butterflies, and tended to subconsciously grab jewelry that was shaped like insects. She became a rather talented thief dubbed "The Butterfly".
-But she didn't like doing this, and the thrill of stealing just became anxiety. She couldn't become a professional thief and she didn't want to.
-She didn't want to face time for her crimes either, and left her town of Olde Foxbury and looked for a place that would offer asylum. The best place she found was the settlement, located near Tigereye Peak but no government associated with it.
-Despite the climate, she refused to let the snow get in the way of her dream: Being a butterfly breeder.
-Since the environment was cold, she had to build greenhouses and import flowers. This wasn't as hard as it sounded as she had a lot of money saved from her illegal activities.
-After establishing her greenhouses she hired two young workers to tend to her massive menagerie with her, Eki and Ilargi.
-There's not much demand for butterflies in the town, but that doesn't really matter to Basque. She has a LOT of money from her time as a thief, and now and then she sells a very expensive butterfly to an outsider.
-After a year or so, she decided to raise other insects in her greenhouse. She sometimes helps care for them, but not often. Tends to leave that to the assistants as she tends the butterflies.
-Very kind, but also a bit sassy. She'll make a snarky comment here and there, but when you need someone, she'll always lend a paw.
-Almost motherly figure, very serene and graceful. Even when walking, butterflies like to land on her.
-Now and then she does a REALLY epic movement that reminds you of how skilled a thief she once was.
