Spectra has always been a wanderer at heart, sleeping, living, creating, and even eating on the road. Hence the decision to go halfsies with Amarant on a large flying - and waterproof, just in case - fortress base that can go anywhere, anytime. At first, it was just Amarant, Spectra, Vibrant, and Starlight living there, but over time, more friends have moved in.
The first time they tested out the base's mobile abilities, Amarant and Spectra took a trip to Oceandome for the annual treasure hunt. Among the glittering prizes, Spectra found a shining object that when touched, enveloped them in a golden glow. They emerged with a beautiful, seaworthy form.
They eventually met a young doctor with nothing but free time, who'd gone into an early retirement. The two became life partners.
