About
Maelie is a young Honduran white bat, born and raised in Oceandome. Her parents, both doctors, encouraged her to grow plants when she was younger. Naive, and wanting to do something to make her parents happy, Maelie complied and started growing herbs in her spare time. When she first started, her parents were convinced she had a natural green thumb. Towards the end of her youth, when Maelie drifted away from Atlas, she learned that she could only grow Teal Trumpets successfully. It wouldn’t be until she reconnected with Atlas that he would admit to her that he had help tend to her garden in secret.
Now that Maelie has spent some time around other herbalists, she is ready to start fresh and try growing some other seeds. The process may be slow for a bat that can grow Teal Trumpets in her sleep, but its a step in the right direction for helping to support other professions found within Oceandome.
