Kestrel became a werewolf at the tender age of 6, by making his best friend Osprey his blood brother. Both choose their names shortly after. Osprey knew better, but his love for his new brother out weighed the punishment he knew he would receive for turning someone as young as himself.
When Osprey died in a car crash at 15, Kestrel mad with grief ran until his feet bleed and joined a pack of real wolves. Two years later, he returned to his home town to find his life shattered. His parents divorced and gone and Osprey's grandfather and former pack leader dead. What little was left of his old family and life couldn't bear to have him near.
Kestrel without home, without family, was left to wander alone.
