About
Long ago, Frostbite lived as a dragon. The fire in his heart burned strong and powerful, and he flew the skies of his home with ferocity and pride. He was a clever, smol fellow with a love of learning and discovery, and his construction work was but a secondary hobby to his studies.
One fateful day a challenger to his home arose, and while his fire may have been strong, the dragon was not a warrior. The challenger triumphed, and the drake was cast from his home village, defeated and disgraced. Now a lost wanderer with no home, eventually he found himself in the frigid lands of Tigereye Peak. His heartfire continued to burn, continued to keep him warm, but it could only hold out so long.
The dragon was found half burried in the snow, skin as cold as ice, by a couple out exploring. They quickly brought him back to the doctor and alchemist of their village, who tended to him as best they could. But the mini sun capsules only helped so much, and his heartfire could not be reignited. Ultimately, they decided that the only way to save his life was to transform him into something that did not need the fire, and the only potion on hand was for Wickerbeasts.
When the Skull Wickerbeast awoke, he had no recollection of who or where he was, only a vague sense that something important to him was missing, lost out in the blizzard. The couple who had found him taught him the ways of the Explorer, and with them he began spending his time searching the frigid lands, hoping he might one day find what he'd lost.
His long lost fire eventually grew forgotten, however, and his time with the couple and the Blue Village of Wanderers transformed him and his life. He began to take interest in learning about all the objects they brought home, all the traded baubles and artifacts that crossed through the town's inventory and stall. Eventually he was put in charge of book keeping in addition to Exploring, and his clever knowledge lead the town alchemist to craft him a new potion more befitting his personality and talents.
