About
Rens guild to animal husbandry
Domesticate everything - you cant get undomesticated pets out of the stables so you need to domesticate to sell in stalls.(you can trade undomesticated to other villagers in the Animal husbandry (A.H.) profession though) . Sell what you don't want to breed right now for best profits or put it in your Menagerie for later use.
If you do keep domesticate so when it breeds it passes on its domestication to its babies so you don't need to domesticate thouse as well.
Double up - When you do breed keep the females of the animal you breed so you can build a harem . 1 becomes 2 becomes 3 becomes 5 then 7 then 11 then 16 etc. since each female has the chance of making a new female
HEREM IT UP - Have at least 10 females of a species. So like 10 female bats. Sync up their breedings so you can hop on once they are ready to breed and ignore it if you rather focus on other things. 10 females means youll probably have a super rare in a year. 25 means in about 5 months you'll have your super rare. 50 females means in about 3 months etc
Male dominance - Make sure when you get a higher rarity you make them a male the rarest color you can. So their genetics can pass on to ALL of the females where as a rare female only has the chance to pass on the rareness to one baby. so if you get a rare female use a breeding potion to turn them male.
Switch out - If you dont want to waste stables keep the males and all but 1 female of your breeding types in your inventory. That way you can see when the females go to heat you can bring the other in and it gives you space to find new pets. removing them doesn't reset timers so theirs no harm in it.
KEEP SEARCHING - You can find uncommon rare and super rares while searching. I found an uncommon wabbit and bat while just going out looking. so never give up. if you dont like the pet domesticate and sell it. OR if its not worth it just release it why let your A.H. pet sit and do nothing?
Sell the males - males don't have purpose unless its the one you use for breeding. ONCE you begin getting a lot of females sell thouse as well they will sell for more but always keep a heft harem since the more females you have the faster you will get thouse super rares.
If you can multiply up - I have 3 animal husbandry pets. I use one to hold all my breeders and domesticate everything as my main A.H pet and i use the other 2 to gather animals when I'm not using them to explore or plant crops. You can also just use them to store a full breeding set of 8 females and 1 male and only hop onto them once every breeding cycle then switch again like its not even there.
