Black Cat is really cool. It is a really short anime, and it's really unknown, but it's a good small series.
Oh I forgot about Death Note spin-off books. I read those, too! My favorite one was the book about BB. I feel like they could have done more with him, maybe. That book has a special place in my heart.
I don't know much about cute anime girls and boys lol. I mostly just watch for plot and character. But if the characters are colorful or memorable, I will like them more. Higurashi has kind of cute girls in it but I haven't seen it, but I really have been meaning to.

Hello! Thank you! I have seen you around the forums and I love your avatar and villagers; they are so colorful!
Is it by John Connolly? I will add that to my TBR list...the list is like a mile long but when I get to it I will talk about it! I may be a while though...
And as for anime/manga there are a ton I like. I can't really name all because the list is huge, so I will give a few.
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, Black Cat, and Death Note are my top anime. As for manga, there are some that I really love that I don't think have been made into anime. I enjoy manga geared towards older audiences, but I am okay with reading any manga (but I'm not too fond of sports manga or overly fanservice-y manga). Some that I am enjoying right now are Nana, Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service, and A Silent Voice.
