The pacing of Homestuck is very inconsistent. I actually only got into it like, three monthes ago and have already finished the comic, however, it takes most people much much longer. I am complete homestuck trash, have four fantrolls, am wearing hs merch right now and have had long philosophical discussions about homestuck with my friend. It definitely can be slower at some points, while in others it makes no sense. Like at all. But its still amazing, just again, keep an open mind, suspend your disbelief and just roll with it. im someone who naturally tries to make sense of everything and will overthink things until i get a reason that makes sense, but i ended up having to give up when it came to homestuck. Logic is a rare thing to be found in that comic

Dont back out cause the beginning is slow. I feel like so many people think the first few acts are boring simply because they expect time sheneigans and action right off the bat, im sure thats why my friend thinks its boring because me and another friend are always talking about all sorts of exciting things and she sorta stopped reading on the second act. The beginning is more of a comedy, i feel like people rush through the pesterlogs and try to get to more excitment. I entered not knowing what to expect and with an open mind and read the first three and half acts on the first day, I loved the humor and wasnt bored in the slightest

Now if only you were into homestuck... I would have found twin interests x3 I tried to get into Zelda, and i have ocarina of time, but i got stuck on the final boss in Jabu Jabu´s belly because i lost the first time and the hearts in the pots around their wouldnt regenerate so i kept dying
