The stake recipe you created is a really cool way to use monster meat. However, I would not recommend eating it outside. The monster's family and friends will seek revenge and you have to hide. But that's ok, because I can hide while eating.
To be honest, I often shy away from saying what I feel for worrying about these very same issues - so I'm actually additionally glad when you make comments because they so often mirror my own thoughts,
