thank you for the info but I'm really horrible at coding, I don't much understand it at all. the code I used I got years ago by another user. but changing it to be better no idea how. coding just not my thing.

You need semicolons
;to separate each declaration (you do not need a semicolon before the closing brace}, but it's good practice to include it).<style>is an HTML tag. You don't need it for FV's CSS because we are not using HTML.The reason your profiles still work is because bad syntax doesn't mean the whole thing will fail. FV automatically removes and adds things to your CSS if the syntax is wrong.
What this means is that things often won't work correctly or as expected because FV is doing behind-the-scenes stuff to try and make bad syntax work. You got lucky.
If you want to fix it, try using a linter.
wait you said my code has "syntax issues?" I used it all the time and seems to work fine. I'm confused if there is something wrong with the code I use can help me fix it up a bit? I can PM you my whole code if you like.
