a) thank you for your continued support of the Chicken
b) I'm personally way more excited for chicken plush and chibi chickens than costumes, but I'd love a galaxy chicken base for a seraph chicken design I have.
c) I actually thought they were sort of deer dryads, but I like your theory 10x better!! that's really cool and now you know way more about deer folklore than you did before, haha.
Okay, I'm about 80% sure that I know what mythological figure the Mythic Deer is based off of. And to be honest, I hadn't even heard of it before I put in the effort to research it. The figure in question is named Eikþyrnir. Its a stag from Norse Mythology who's name quite literally translates into "the one with oak-like antlers" aka "oak-thorny" and I think that confirms it. Fun Fact: Its antlers can apparently purify any body of water and melt snow/ice.
I made those trophies during the introduction of pvp, since the matching system was causing a lot of people to get wiped out by much higher level opponents before it was tweaked. Ironically, they are still valid for a lot of things on this site. XD
Okay, so it took a few hours but the Mythic Deer has finally grown on me. I shouldn't have been annoyed that it didn't turn out to be a Peryton as that blinded my reasoning. I also did some research and I have two theories on what it could be based on. I'll be making an obligatory thread to discuss these theories. And honestly, Perytons are still (basically) confirmed to be showing up on the site soon enough. Angelic costumed deer will (basically) be Perytons. Other than that, I'm sorry again that you didn't get your sorcerer chicken but maybe we'll get chicken costumes during the Serpent Festival. Is there any specific costume you'd be hoping to see for the chickens? Angelic, Fairy, or Galactic?

I'm sorry that we didn't get sorcerer chicken... also that mythic deer isn't a peryton. It just has leaves attached to its antlers. I'm gonna be researching into different mythical deer to figure out what it is supposed to be based off of 'cause I can't accept that MY deer would break the cycle of mythics being based off legendary/mythical creatures. And I'm still annoyed that we didn't get the chicken. Furvilla why?
