I have no idea what I did, I have nerve and tendon damage in that arm already (I have dislocated fingers without knowing how/when) Dr said it could be broken (will find out monday) or I just damaged the tendons even more and they're inflamed.
Hehe I think it'd be better for him to head out and get them for y'all XD but I like "making" my hubby do the quick trips out for me so I am a bit biased.. XD Oh my gosh, I can't believe y'all are getting a (mini) heat wave now D: ick!!!!! Yes keep those window units in!!!! 70s are fine but you'll need 'em if it does get hotter! I hope you can get central air/heat soon, you can't live without it here! (I had to once, it was awful..) I'm also surprised y'all don't have like 100% humidity like... always.. lol I figured Florida would since you're surrounded by water on three sides!
Oh that's great news!! I'm so happy they're all safe! The world is going so dang crazy right now... I think all of us that are alive should be thankful, geeze ): But, I did hear that on the radio (the power out) although she said it could be A YEAR before they get all of the power up for everyone. It's almost sad how much we need electricity but we do! (I mean it can seriously be life or death for some people) so maybe we should only be slightly thankful for just being alive... I just can not imagine how they're all faring... I just hope by some miracle everyone gets power sooner rather than later.
We're actually getting a cold front! It was 84 yesterday! (we always have 80+ humidity so not sure where that was at but there was a soft breeze!) And I guess my body decided I needed just a little more pain because I think I broke my hand.. (I don't have a lot of feeling in it so not sure when/how) but it feels like it! Going to the doctor today so I guess we'll see lol.. Don't you follow suit and do anything like that too okay? XD <3
Oh thank goodness! I was really worried about y'all but especially your aunt as I remember you couldn't get a hold of her! I'm glad the landlord got them a generator, those things are a god send in the south when you loose power! (I don't know how hot it has been there lately here it's 90's-100's still) I hope they get their power back soon, I know a few friends in Florida have gotten theirs back so hopefully it'll be soon!
Oh no... I hope your hubbies side is okay, all of those Islands are really taking a beating this year ): it's like everywhere you turn something awful is going on ): I guess we need to start praying to the weather gods to stop all this soon! We're all doing pretty well, finally getting normal (well as normal as it's going to be for awhile). I hope your pain eases up, I know mine has been going nuts but I figure it has something to do with the weather lol who knows. I just hope you start feeling better, pain has a great way of getting you down. *hugs* keep me updated on your hubbies family please <3 *sending prayers and the best of wishes*
Hey! How're y'all doing? Hope all is well <3
I sadly can't say I've heard good back surgery stories first hand either ): (I've read about them... but you know how that is...) Please keep me informed and y'all and your aunt! Irma seems to be one really angry lady ): (I also have friends and family in her path) We just can not get a break this summer it seems ): *hugs* y'all stay safe and I hope your aunt can stay safe (and dry) too! <3
Oh my gosh you just reminded me of me trying to do the colors on the color wheel in art class XD I was so upset because I couldn't get the colors right. like no matter what I tried they just looked off.. my teacher was just like 'it's okay, you did fine, don't worry about it' she was awesome .. this was also in High school though o.o my first ever art class (I think it was in middle school/junior high.. when we got to choose our non-mandatory classes) omg that teacher HATED me. I still to this day do not know why she didn't like me, I was very quiet, didn't talk much, did as I was asked.. (she scared the crap outta me too so I was not going to act out in her class! not that I did that much.. I just talked some in my other classes when we weren't suppose to lol) but man... she almost killed my love of art.. I didn't even take an art class the next year because I was so scared I'd get her again ): I do remember Social Studies coloring maps but I only remember using blue and yellow (I have no problem with those colors, greens start to get kinda hard, pink/orange I can't really tell apart.. I can only see a few shades of pink.. usually REALLY pale pink or like hot pink..other than that I see orange)
If you happen to remember the procedure name I'll look it up and see if I can't figure something out from that (like maybe suggest something they didn't or statistics.. I know there are new laser things they do now a days that seem to be better.) I doubt I'll find anything different though, doctors are usually good at what they do XD but it's still interesting to look up that stuff and better understand what they want to do!
Oh no! I've heard of the metal discs instead and everyone I've heard that had them said they're awful D: (like when it gets cold it causes more pain) Have you ever noticed that o.o? I really hope I don't have to have it done (ever!) but I know the discs in my neck aren't good so it is something I have to think about :/ (also.. I kinda want to walk through a metal detector and beep XD but I guess I could do that with all the metal in my body.. I have... I don't even remember how many piercings.. I think like 15..XD )
You know, I do not remember ever doing any colorblind tests in school (except one in High School which by that point I already knew XD) My science teacher was really amused though, kept having me go back over some of the color blind puzzles. (I seem to have it worse in one eye,) Even if any of them are I'm not worried, I don't mind being (mildly) color blind, I can't see a lot of shades of brown (I see purple instead) so I think I see the world more uniquely XD Although my (great) uncle was 100% color blind, he could only see grey, black, and white... I think that would stink ): My grandparents told me he use to sit at stop lights and wait for someone to honk to let him know he was suppose to go! That would not be good ):
T_T' I can't imagine having that many messed up! I'm really surprised they don't want to give you a cadavers spine (not... not sure how much they can even replace though...) but they did that for a friend of mine (she was in a bad car accident) it took a few YEARS of therapy however she can now do a normal job! She does still get pain sometimes, and is usually a bit achey after work.. but compared with how she was (couldn't stand or sit with out pain) she's loads better! I think the section they replaced was 5/6 inches long so it was a good bit. Do you know the name of the surgery they want to try for you? (I always like looking up medical procedures, sometimes it can make them sound worse.... but it's usually nice to take your own time to see what the heck they're talking about.
Oh I hadn't thought about that! (not being able to sit long due to pain) ): that stinks however at least you can move around! So that's one thing I guess lol (well way better than having to sit in pain at least) Holy Geeze your hubby is busy! That's so cool he's working on his second masters!!!!! I love when people who aren't "college age" go back to finish off or advance, hehe my gramma is actually going to college ^^ (I'm proud of her <3 ) it's really only for the more fun classes but she's learning how to do different crafts, taking an art class, and doing an exercise class :D I haven't tried my daughter for colorblindness yet, plus she's a bit of a derp-a-do )aka she likes to mimic instead of do what you ask (she has mild autism and SPD though she's already starting to out-grow the SPD) With my son I tried but ^^' I have a hard time seeing the animals (I can pass /most/ of that test) he also doesn't understand why I'm asking "do you see a _______" ...doesn't help he doesn't know the name of all the animals.... there's apparently a fox in the picture and ..he's 5 he does not know what a fox is... or a deer... or a squirrel apparently... (then again the squirrel he sees all the time is a cartoon one from Nut Job -what's playing right now- so I guess a realistic squirrel does look a lot different from a cartoon one) My uncle said not to worry yet, and chances that he'll have it aren't very high as it /usually/ skips a generation. (I know a girl(lady) who is colorblind and her dad also is, so super super uncommon!)
Ha my hubby watches that stuff too! I'm glad you can record your shows to watch them later! It'd really stink if you couldn't ): Hehe and glad you got him to 'switch teams' so y'all can watch football together ^^ I can never follow games (football, baseball, soccer, etc...well I can watch Hockey..) I can never sit still long enough (when we watch HGTV or Food Network I'm usually doing something else too). I've never been very good at sitting still... (I have ADHD so I feel like I can not sit still x.x) Also teaching kids colors is a little bit of a pain when one kid is convinced it's one color so the others end up going with it (like it's BLUE! no... no it's red.. ) So far I don't think they're colorblind like me since they just agree with one another but I could be wrong! (I have to double check colors with my hubby all the time so I'm not the best at telling them what color is what XD)
Right? Those shows are such fun to watch! (and day dream about) we mostly watch HGTV and Foodnetwork online XD (and of course random youtube videos) Hubby likes to think watching Food Network makes him an expert at cooking (but he does not cook - ever). It's really funny though, on Chopped he's like "I'd make ____________" and I'm like Oh would you? XD *hugs* <3
