Out on the edges of the Serpent's back, far from the spine and marking the halfway point between Kismet Port and the District of Providence, one can easily find a small community called Crier's Rest. Before the construction of Kismet, Crier's originally served as the main agricultural line for Providence, and while it does still technically hold this title, the introduction of foreign goods has significantly lessened the district's dependence on the goods coming out of the community. Now Crier's serves as waypoint and reststop for visitors to Quetzal Palace. It's a largely peaceful area since the more rowdy and mercantile groups tend to stay within the port. The majority of it's visitors tend to be visiting family members from other villages or immigrants getting their first glimpse into their future lives as Quetzal citizens.
