Yeah, I first noticed when I tried to buy a rabbit potion recipe for my alchemist. It said that only alchemists from the town where the recipe originated from could learn it so I just sold it in my stall for a very low price.

Yeah, different towns have things exclusive to them. XD
Here's a tip so you don't waste money, don't buy potion recipes that originate from different zones, your animal won't be able to learn them. I learned the hard way.
