I saw your comment asking about how to play as the different kinds of animals and yes i believe they're gotten through potions you can brew! : o (They're all specific to certain villages tho so you might have to do some trading if you want a specific one.) You can get a little more information if you look through newbie articles in the help section! Hope that helps~
