Heya everyone! My name is Wintie and I am a 20 years old guy coming from Belgium.
English isn't my native language but I've been told I was doing fine speaking it so I guess everything's alright.

Nope! The lion will stay with you and you can change job etc as you want! You just need an extra space for the lion is all c:

Though Explorer + Herbalist seems to be what works best so far since you explore and find only a thousand seeds easily- XD
so yeh, Villager -> career -> change can get you from animal to explorer and then you can make your second baby a herbalist c:
I'd say keep it if you're enjoying it- However you can have a second villager with beginner money, if you still have 500 coins I'd suggest buying a villager slot and making explorer, they find things (and money) for you and that way you can have wood stored up to make stables later for your animals!
(if you wasted the 500 coin, i'll be more than happy to toss you some)
I did that as well, but there's this weird glitch that won't let me complete the second animal collection. Maybe you can keep it if you get another villager spot and change them to Explorer.

Hunting down animals and having them breed with random gender is pretty hard way to earn money off the bat, if you wanna earn money and not struggle as much it seems like having an Explorer + other job(herbalist) is easiest way to get supplies for things you'll later need and earn quick early money for the site!
You can change jobs once per day per character is what Im trying to say xD Sorry, I don't mean to be confusing!
It's only been open a short while but I've been binge playing with a group of friends-
So we've kinda learned how to screw ourself over before being productive XD
If you need some help with anything don't be afraid to drop me a message! I see you started off with animal husbandry so I can warn you in advance that you need 1 explorer to gather items unless you wanna be broke XD //snorts cause I picked animal husbandry first as well// It can be changed if you click villager-career-change~
