I'm not the creator of that paintie you saw, but I noticed your question, so. The reason near had a villager with +5 DMG and +5% crafting speed is because the villager a had royal coloration (gotten by using a royal costume!), all tailor-made costumes give a bonus to certain careers when your villager has that coloration. :]
