Quitting the site just because prices aren't ideal is kind of overkill. You can still enjoy the site.
Something to realize is that people do not act rationally in economics. If you're interested, the study of this is called Behavioral Economics. Some interesting articles: The Irrational Consumer | Rethinking Thinking
Furvilla is in beta, which means that we are really just testers. Who knows how long the site will be in beta before the admins figure out how to fix these, among other, problems.
I suspect that once the forums open back up, people (maybe even you!) will make price guides and with those, the prices will begin to stabilize.
Please reconsider leaving the site if the economy is the only reason you're doing it.
Hey, I totally agree. I don't think the price of the mouth plant is that much of a problem considering there's other items that's a lot worse. Just look at the slime and spider shields. It's not even worth making anymore, but yet people make them and sell them for wayyy less than what the ingredients and time cost them. It's admirable that you're trying to fix things, but I mean, it's kinda already such a bad situation it's going to be hard to fix it. Hopefully they will wipe the accounts when they go out of beta, and perhaps fix/balance the cost of things more. Since tbh this has been a problem right from day one, and nothing was done until recently, so its hard to reverse it now sadly lol
When I put them in the marketplace, I was not the lowest seller. It is hard to judge what the price should be when so many people undersell. I just put my items in above sellback price and let things do as they will.
Yes, I do agree, and it's not just mouth beans, it seems like this playerbase does not know how to price their work and effort and just keep breaking prices of everything, can't keep that from happening unless you teach them how to quantify what they're selling. It is a bit annoying that it keeps happening with everything, even crafted items like houses.
Just bought up a bunch of undersold mouth beans to keep prices from dropping. Mouth bean prices have decreased by 50 fc since yesterday.
Additionally, any crafting item should be sold for double the price that the sum of its parts would give the game. Again, at the VERY LEAST. Making medication has now become profit loss due to undercutting. Thanks everyone
