I'm old and currently residing in Canada. I play on Flight Rising, Subeta, Lioden, and a bit of Wajas. I log on daily due to having no life. I have unreliable sleeping patterns. I'm a bit nooby, but eager to help if I'm able. Feel free to send me a mail.
This is a place where eternally
Fire is applied to the body
Teeth are extruded and bones are ground
Then baked into cakes which are passed around

That's cool, letters and signs and all of that is what fascinates me too. It's fun to learn what they mean and sound like. And if you want to learn Korean then go for it ^^
Yeahhhhh... that's one of the issues holding us from globetrotting :(
Russians use an alphabet called Cyrillic script. You can look it up.
I'm very close to Ireland but I haven't visited it yet, but I would like to visit Iceland (it has huge lone stones that is said elves live in *D*) or some East Asian countries :)
That's nice, thank you :) I think I'll either re-learn German or learn Irish, Portugese or Russian...
Same, I really like learning about languages. Once I was learning German for maybe a year or so but now i forgot most of it, though it was very fun to pronounce words. I kind of want to learn some more languages later on and be more than bilingual :)
And that's a cool way to get to know new songs I guess, I may try it later.
Yeah I know, especially as you have to swap endings of the words depending on gender, time, person, number and all kinds of stuff...
Maybe try Polish metal bands or old bands, or all-time bands or something like that. There's much more than what I listed, but since I haven't heard those at all I wouldn't be confident recommending them ;u;
That's a lot then, maybe start learning very simple sentences like greetings or asking 'how are you', or 'I like/ I don't like'.
I also don't like hip-hop or pop (except for few old pop songs that are actually decent) and I cringe when I hear disco polo (Polish country music). If you want to check some of the old Polish bands, they are TSA, KSU, Turbo, Kat... there are quite a few but I haven't listened to them much. If you want something lighter then Big Cyc :D
Three words learned in a week? Wow, you rule :D Well, definitely don't worry that you don't know much yet, worry if more time passed and you don't know much despite that. I'll keep my thumbs up!
I'm not sure if you like metal music, one of my favourite Polish bands is Hunter. I also like a comedians band that plays all the genres mixed together and they are called Łydka Grubasa (Fat Man's Calf xD). Apart of that I really only know some old bands, because I don't listen that much of them recently.
Girl - dziewczyna :) easy. Don't worry, maybe focus on talking first if you learn better from listening.
And yeah, when you actually are around people and their country it's much easier to learn not just their language but also customs and other things :)
That's good ^^ Though, I must warn you, Polish is very hard for everyone else than Polish people.
I learned English mostly by living in England, also a bit at school but these were basics really.
No, not Krab xD It has 3 letters from that word though so you're kind of close.
That sounds interesting, maybe just try learning little by little or find instructional videos/lessons/tutorials that look interesting and not boring :)
