Casper_Ringtail I have a pretty solid immune system myself. I hadn't been sick for almost half a year before getting a pretty minor case of pneumonia at the end of summer break. The medicine I took targets mucus but no dice. Still coughy and more clearing of the throat. And it was cherry flavored... my worst nemesis... hey, at least it wasn't swallow pills.... me and swallow only pills have a hate hate relationship. For some agitating reason, I can't swallow pills. So I *chew* swallow only pills and BOY are they GROSS like that. -shivers-
It was my sister >_> You so much as look at my mother and she gets sick; but I have an incredible immune system and it's unheard of for me to get sick. But I ended up losing my voice. That was fun. Happened slowly over the course of my shift at work... where I take people's orders... totally not inconvenient at all...
Advil Cold is usually pretty good. Helps with coughing, sneezing and sinus pressure - all the good stuff. Maybe something that targets mucus specifically if that's the cause.
Blech! At least it wasn't grape flavoured, right? DX
Casper_Ringtail ah X3 we all know what happens when *one* family member gets sick :P and really logical things actually don't usually work for me? I took medicine and I still kept coughing. Dang, I had to swallow down that horrible-tasting red liquid for nothing... -shivers-

Just got back from doing some shopping. The bus was very late and I'm still frozen D: I should make myself a hot chocolate. Or get a better sweater. Or both. Both is good.
Ack, coughing is never fun. My whole family is sick and I can't get rid of this cough myself. Coughing + working in food services = not good. I try mint myself. Add a little to some tea... or peppermint tea if you like/don't mind the taste. Or VapoRub. Just don't put it right under your nose like I did XD
