Oh man, I know how you feel. But for me I really love
simple characters. They are really relaxing to do tbh.
Though complicated designs gives me a lot of practice
but I still love simple designs. Hence why Cookies is
simple. She used to be just a plain cat with wings and
the brown markings. It was not until a year after
creating her that I felt I need to spruce her up a little.
I added the pawprint on her thigh/flank and gave
her a small fish necklace and a heart bracelet(?).
Her Dodo bird poncho was added in just last year xD
She's one of those many characters that I still love and
have sentimental value over them.

Oh! Neopets is like well, a somewhat similar game to
this but you can earn neopoints (the currency in game)
in lots of ways. There's also places to get freebies. But
I've been out of the game so long and it probably has
changed drastically. You can check out the website if you want! ( www.neopets.com ) Sadly, I lost the
account password over there and I couldn't recover it.

I use Paint Tool SAI! I tried to follow the tutorial on
Furvilla but the recolouring is just about the part that
makes me wanna die //smacked Personal preference
tbh and I'm really a nit picker for quality but my art
skills don't allow me to do that xD I want everything to
"look the same" aka if I want to recolour the base and
make edits, I want it to be the same quality as the
original base. And my splicing skills aren't great and
splicing a grayscale base is different from splicing the
regular line art as you need to touch up the painterly
style. Man I wish I wasn't so nit picky ans accept a
stark difference in art quality. But I just can't do it. //hit
Hence I'm stuck with the good ol' reline and edit pfft.

And I've notcied, I'm waiting for Tako to fully
domesticate the Brown Bun so I can switch his job to
an Explorer. And okay! I will definitely get a
construction worker for my fourth slot. Thank you so
much for the tips! Furvilla is really fun tbh. It really
reminds me of Neopets which I use to love dearly.
Ah man, I hope to earn for FC/FD so I can buy stuff
and possibly do more Custom Panities for myself
because I'd love to see my OCs in this game and the
base itself haha xD

Also another reason I didn't recolour the grayscale
base is because it's rather tough for me. And I don't
know how to make the edits look painterly (or as close
to the base as possible) I didn't like the stark
differences in style so I relined the base and made the
edits. Tbh recolouring the base or relining the whole
thing both requires a lot of patience //HIT Since the
base itself is already very complex (for me) Though
relining and making edits on the line art is easier on me

And oh! I see, I may do that sometime, or maybe not
because it's a bit of a hassle whoops x'D But thank you
so much for the tip! I'm just currently fumbling around
with Furvilla trying to make more money (or literally
trying to earn money faster) In short, I'm trying to find
an efficient way to earn FurCash or FurDollars xD

Aww, thank you! The only reason is because I'm afraid
that they would reject the Paintie if I over stylised the
original base with my own style. I just wanted to play
safe so my efforts wouldn't go to waste pffft xD

and felt toys/dolls. They are super adorable and really

i've been struggling to work things out here and i have no idea but things aren't flowing well for me. >.>

and i couldnt decide on what other villager i would want..the choices. XD
