Ah~! That's a good one with a little bit of a story behind it!
So, warriors that we know them as today, is actually more of a "Warrior 2.0" sort of deal. Back shortly after release, the warrior battle system was overhauled into the system we have today. Because of the major changes to everything, the old equipment couldn't be used as they were, and needed to be converted into the new system.
Knowing that sites like this live off of collecting things, instead of forcing the change to all of the items, they were instead given the "Legacy" tag, with the ability to convert them yourself into the new system. This way, any item that has "Legacy -name-" for their name, means that they were made BEFORE the change to the new system, and no such items can ever be made ever again. With that, any Legacy item that you convert to the new system, can never be converted back; it's a one way change.
You may notice that there's also some medicine items like this in the stalls, as they went through the same change recently with the new Doctor system~!
I was summoned by the Gummy~ ... But yeah; that seems pretty much correct that he talked about! Some of the equipment is crafted, where as others are purchased through different difficult means (like the Chubby Bunny). So if there's anything else you'd like more details about or something, feel free to let me know~!

Legendary Equipment is basically the equipment on the higher end of the "damage meta", in the sense that the abilities or stats they provide your warrior are much greater than that of craftable or event equipment! As such, these equips typically need to be banned from Standard PVP since they give an unfair advantage. If you have ever been one-shot in Free-for-All PVP, it was likely from a user that has a (or even several) legendary equipment pieces.
I know of a couple, like the Chubby Bunny (in the cottage shop for 500 Buckeye leaves), the Unicorn Lance (craftable), and Armour of the Divine Kitsune (craftable). LanceDoggo could probably tell you more when he gets a chance, as warrior is his bread-and-butter :3c
