Yeah, the borax definitely felt like a bit of a deus ex-machina. It seems a little pointless to build up these all-powerful villains, only to have something so silly be able to hurt them.
Oh definitely! They just couldn't resist. What did you think of the leviathans? I know most people seem to hate them. Personally I think they had wasted potential. They could have been really interesting villains (older than demons, and even angels), and yet they just made them into something rather boring.
Agreed on Zachariah. I don't think he was meant to be liked as a character. He was just a dick! As was Uriel. Metatron was a dick too at first, but he did redeem himself at the end. I enjoyed his character arc.
I have to admit that I quite liked Abandon. She reminded me a bit of Crowley in her mannerisms. I wasn't a big fan of Asmodeus though. I'm glad they killed him off quickly!
It's always great to see other Supernatural fans on here! Yeah, I really liked Cain too, he was a pretty interesting character. I'd would have loved to have seen more of him before they killed him off. Personally I've always liked Lucifer as a villain, and Crowley of course!
