Profile description
12/23/2016 - Decided to revamp my entire profile, start from scratch. As such, things will be added little by little. For now, however, I'll just give some key points.
I'm a sculptor in various forms. I tend to work mostly with clay, although I'm currently working on a HUGE project that will probably stand over half my size. This project is taking a lot of time, and of course I'm doing little side projects here and there as well.
I'm an extreme bookworm, as you may be able to tell by my name. I'm always up for some book talk. Of course, while I love my sci-fi/fantasy genre', I'm also big into allegory books ranging anywhere from Fahrenheit 451 to Lord of the Flies and everything between, before, and after. You want to talk Poe? Shakespeare? Blake? ect... You already have my attention.
I'm former military, have been overseas, met many people, and have seen many things. Don't come to me talking about life being bad, crying because people don't 'respect' you, or any of that bs. You don't yet know hardship.(not being intentionally mean here, but the things I've seen, the things I've had to do, especially to people in order to survive... Anyone here likely can't even come close)
I will always be straitforward with anyone. I don't believe in trying to sugar-coat the truth, nor do I believe in trying to cater to people sensitivities. I actually am sorry, but there are harsh truths in the world, you have to be able to handle them.

Thank you very much :)
Oooh I'm definitely going to look into the Age of Fire series! As for wings of fire, I much prefer the second round of dragonets more than the first five. The first five did seem a bit one sided, but I think that was because each one was supposed to represent different feelings and emotions. I like the second series of WoF because the characters are actually relatable. Moon is shy and hates interactions at the beginning, but slowly starts to come out of her shell as she gets closer to her friends. I also find Winter;s inner conflicts to be very intriguing and well written. All his life he's grown up learning to hate a tribe of dragons, but then he actually meets one and sees they can be good. I also quite like the love triangle between Winter, Qibla, and Moon.
Now as for the last dragon chronicles, I've read them before. It was all extremely confusing, but I did like the original concept. I read the first few books fine, but after I got to around the middle I was just completely lost. Come to think of it, I actually might have read them out of order, but I doubt it. I got really far into the series too, but I just got too confused to continue. By the way, I'm sure you've heard of it, but have you read the Eragon series? It's quite good, but I actually had to skip quite a few chapters in the last book because it was literally all fighting. And on your side note, I'm usually pretty good with not commenting on my own profile. I've had some friends that forget and do it all the time though. oh and do you want to continue talking on a PM? Just so it doesn't clutter up our user pages. :)
Oooh I love dragon series! One I highly recommend is called Wings of Fire. It's an amazing series, and the eighth book is coming out in December! I'd actually be a bit surprised if you haven't heard of it. Another one that is a slightly different style but still pretty good is called Talon. It's a series where dragons live among humans in a human form as they slowly grow and try to take over the world. I didn't think it would be good because I don't like books where the dragons are evil, but it surprised me. The protagonist is a red dragon named Ember, and has always been thought to be odd because she feels "Undragonly" emotions like love and compassion,
Don't worry I like to over analyse too. I did find that quite interesting, how he was at the beginning obviously the antagonist that only cared about getting what he wanted, not caring who or what he harmed in the process. It was amazing character development by the end when he actually acted human. That's why I like The Time Paradox so much, because it not only messes with your head a bit, but also shows the huge difference in personality between the young, original Artemis and the older, caring one.
Have you heard of the series Artemis Fowl? It's amazing! It has so many puzzle pieces that fit together perfectly in the end. The sixth book is even a paradox.
Hey, welcome back.
Terriermon. ^_^
