You can use them to plant seeds that you get from exploring. Its a good way to earn FC too.

To use a Herbalist pot, you first need a villager with the Herbalist career. If you go to their career tab and scroll down, you should see a list of their pots, along with a button that says something along the lines of "Add a pot." That's where you use them. :) Y
