I've honestly stopped caring what the outsiders think and shown more of that side to myself, but I can understand that's scary for many. I'm doing alright - and you?
Well I've significantly downsized in the past couple of years, since I've ceased breeding birds and am resuming my efforts to foster/care for any birds already out there. So we went from 42 to around 17 right now. The number will sadly climb after the holidays.
And you're absolutely right. Cats + Birds is always an issue waiting to happen. Even those who say their "cats would never do that" or seem to get along, end up often doubting their decisions. Cat's claws/saliva are absolutely lethal to birds, so it only takes on little scratch. D:
Eep thank you! I love my birdies so much - they have basically taken over my life to the point that I don't know where I begin and my birds end. ehehe
No problem! And pinging is easy, you just create an '@' symbol and then the user's name. So it would be @ beakybirds (without the space between my username and the symbol) to ping me or you can use their ID number so @ 10 would be me as well. :D
I've gotcha there! I know the furry community gets a lot of outside hate, but honestly haters just show how much they know. The overarching community is probably the only fandom / community I can fully say I'm proud to be a part of.
