Goodbye Helpers

Today I'm here to inform you that we have decided to retire the Helper role. As such, our current Helpers have been retired as well. We want to thank all of our past and now-retired Helpers for their time and contributions.
The Helper forum has been redone to be a more general landing space for newbies.

Annual Shamrock Hunt!
Warm winds are finally blowing into Furvilla, and Spring is right around the corner! To celebrate, your Explorers can participate in the Great Shamrock Hunt from now until March 31st!
Collecting shamrocks is easy! All you need to do is explore and you will find shamrocks everywhere. Collect 77 of them to craft a special Blue 4 Leaf Clover using a Blue Magic Recipe, which can be purchased in the Cottage Shoppe, along with its older counterparts. This recipe can be learned by Crafters.
Your Blue 4 Leaf Clover can be held by a villager as a keepsake, or you can open it to try your luck at receiving one of the following items:

Serpent Tribute 2025

Hello everyone! I am excited to announce the beginning of our 2025 Quetzal Palace Serpent Tribute!
The Gala Ball, where you may trade your serpent feathers for fabulous prizes, will open on March 7th and close on March 23rd at 11:59pm.
Offerings to the Serpent
As in previous years, all of Furvilla comes together at this time to pay tribute to the Great Serpent of Quetzal Palace, both as thanks and for good luck for the upcoming year.
The Serpent provides Serpent's Feathers in exchange for the items it seeks. These feathers will be used as currency during the Gala Ball's Prize Shop when it opens next week.
The Serpent has several specific demands, which you may view on its donation page.
The Serpent craves specific items created in its image, items crafted with all of the "junk" that you've saved in your inventory over the year.
To obtain items the Serpent seeks, you will be calling upon the assistance of the majority of your villagers, as most careers have something to contribute.
Serpent Themed Recipes!
Recipes to appease the Serpent are available in QP's Popup Shop (for a small price). Quetzal Palace's very own QP is running a special festival shop, which may be accessed here. QP is also carrying four types of special Seed Packets.

A sampling of the recipes sold by QP.
Crafters, Alchemists, Tailors, Blacksmiths, Cooks and Doctors will craft these recipes. Each time a recipe is crafted, a basic item is guaranteed to drop. Occasionally, a rarer version of this item will drop as a bonus in addition to the base item. The Serpent will award more feathers for rarer items.
For example, here is what may potentially drop from creating a Serpent's Whipcake!
Herbalists, get those paws dirty!
Your Herbalists may contribute some lovely flower offerings to the Serpent. Head on over to QP's Popup to purchase Seed Packets. These packets will always drop a common seed, but have a similar potential as the above recipes to drop rarer seeds.

You will only yield one plant per seed (bonuses do not apply), but your harvest will never fail.
Warriors step up!
Your Lvl 10+ Warriors may wish to help your cause by heading off to the Serpent Battlegrounds to spar with various elemental warriors and the Serpent itself! This battleground will challenge your fiercest Warriors as well as possibly provide you with some extra crafting items.
Let's see whatcha' got!
This year, the lvl 10+ battleground has the potential to drop some new stamps.
Can you win enough to collect them all?
Have a novice Warrior who isn't quite tough enough to take on the main battleground? Don't fret! The Serpent is offering some more gentle sparring and training in a lvl 1+ battleground, but your rewards will be far less... rewarding.
Captivating Contests!
Our hardworking mod team has come up with some special contests to help celebrate the Serpent! Contests are accessible through the Serpent Tribute hub, and will conclude when the event ends.
The Gala Ball
This year's Gala Ball will open on March 7th. To enter, you will need to wear a specific outfit, which will be provided to you at no cost on the Serpent Tribute hub page once the Gala opens.
You'll be new boot goofin' at the Gala all night!
Enjoy the fun, and please appease the Serpent. Its greed is immense.

Hello, hello! Aspen here, popping in to give you an update on upcoming Furvilla events!
Serpent Tribute
This year's Serpent Tribute is scheduled to begin on February 27th at around 8pm Furvilla Time, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
To celebrate, have a sneak peak at one of the upcoming chibi villagers!
We love you, Serpent!
Future Festivals
Thanks to the incredibly diligent hard work of our amazing lead artist, Ink, all festival assets for 2025 are complete. This means that we can ensure that all festivals and mini-events will happen as normal this year. We anticipate the following schedule:
- Serpent Tribute - February 27th
- Shamrock Hunt - throughout the month of March
- The Grande Tourney - Late May
- Treasure Hunt - Late July
- Harvest Carnival - Late October
- Black Jade Week - Late November
- Furvilla's 9th Annifursary - December 7th
- Snow Festival - Late December

I can't wait for you to see them all!
In general, festivals will operate the same as in the past, with adjustments to help redistribute our limited resources across each festival more equally. Historically, the Serpent Festival has been the most resource-heavy of our events.
Last year, the Serpent accepted donations from previous years, and will continue to do so. Recipes will be available during the Tribute, for those who may not have them all.
As a result of this shift in asset use, you can look forward to more festival prizes than before, as well as new items obtainable exclusively through festival play, especially for the Treasure Hunt and Harvest Carnival.
New Item in the Fair Exchange
Versatile Rock Pick is now permanently available (for a sum) in the Fair Exchange.
Tools!
This rock pick will help you interact with a new festival prize shop item which helps to re-distribute retired Stones.
Remember, while we may re-release some older items to help players complete collections, it will always be easier and cheaper to earn them through their initial festival release.
Get ready to appease the Serpent. It is feeling quite greedy.

This news post is a general reminder to stay mindful and vigilant about keeping your online accounts safe. Make sure to change your passwords regularly and try not to use the same password in every place. Check on any of your inactive accounts to make sure it has not been compromised and change your passwords immediately if a data breach has happened. If you know any inactive Furvilla users feel free to remind them to check in on their Furvilla accounts to make sure everything is still secure. If you notice any suspicious behavior or activities going on make sure to alert a moderator either through filing a Report or sending a message to one directly.

Pet Retired Boxes
In the past, we've released Retired Pet Boxes, which gave a chance to drop a random Furdollar Emporium pet box from the designated year. We will continue this tradition, with one change. Going forward, Retired Boxes will be released on January 1st of the following year. This means that the 2025 Retired Box will be released on January 1st, 2026. This box will be available using the same methods as previous boxes.
