Wolves

So with our sparring friends off resting (don't worry - they'll be back!), we've some new challengers on the scene!
This time around, we've some new item art among the loot:
And with this new amulet, we've a new category of magic: Earth Spells!
Also, somewhere, lost to the void, we've these two new Kitsunes:
There's three tiers of battlegrounds - this time round, you'll be able to find slabs in all battlegrounds, as well as coins and crystals. The type of crystals you'll find varies depending on your chosen battleground, and there's a few other little secrets to discover as well!
Additionally, the initial batch of events has been re-enabled. They'll be around until this mini-event concludes - though, you're probably better off staying away from the manor!
This unfortunately excludes the original version of QP's event, as it was modified. However, both QP events are more likely to occur during the event.
Finally, if you have any issues regarding the recent crystal changes (specifically, if you crafted crystals within three weeks of the changes yesterday), please contact me with any proof you might have and we may be able to sort you out a replacement crystal, depending on the circumstances.
This event will conclude at 11:59pm on the 29th of July, Furvilla time.
The Dire Wolves Battleground is really badly balanced in my opinion if it's meant to be an "intermediate" battleground.
Seriously, my level 19 is struggling there? c'mon guys I'd like to be on one of the interesting/good drop event battlegrounds just once :/
Me battling Sorrow: Wow this is so easy for a level 8 villager

I was a little apprehensive to using the term beta, at least, though Alpha still makes sense enough to me. Gray/Timber doesn't work so well given the actual species of wolves in that battleground don't match the colours particularly well.
I'll just switch the Beta to Dire, though. Seems like the simplest solution.

Alpha Wolves could be Dire Wolves, a term often used in a fantasy setting to indicate unnaturally larger & stronger wolf creatures than any other.
Generally the largest natural wolves in our world are Gray Wolves/Timber Wolves, so maybe that could be used for Beta wolves?
Lone Wolves could stay as they are, or perhaps be Juvenile Wolves to indicate they're lesser if you'd like to change them.
Sorry to be critical, I know you're working doubly hard lately trying to keep things interesting while we were missing a coder, I just unfortunately associate Alpha/Beta with toxic masculinity
I'm already very tired of how strong you have to be to get something even remotely interesting lol
I just fought "Sorrow" and he did "happy" and we were both happy with no side effects and I'm so confused?
Giv me those kitsunes

I mean, I don't disagree - if you've a better suggestion I can change the battleground's name.
*cringes loudly at "beta" wolves*

They'll likely be tweaked tomorrow, as will the drop rates - a bit short on time to make changes right now, but it's useful to let the content sit for a bit and see what sort of feedback pops up.
At the very least, the Lone & Beta Wolves should be beatable.
