We have been consolidating and reviewing a lot of feedback on various rules we have, and are happy to announce that all of the updated rules have been released.

1. The Terms of Service no longer forbids breasts, but instead focuses entirely on nipple exposure. Breasts are now allowed on Painties as well as artwork posted on Furvilla provided they follow the nipple rule. We feel this best represents a SFW environment while also not implying sexualization of people with that body shape.

2. The Terms of Service clarify our position on game asset trading with other browser games. The short answer is, we are fine with trading, however, we would like you to wait until the game is out of beta before doing so.

3. The Code of Conduct now indicates that CSS should not be used to cover or alter game stat information, including hiding or altering your or your villager's stats, or replacing your villager's image with CSS.

4. Our Forum Rules have now been updated to indicate that the phrase 'illegal drugs' refers to United States federal law, as there are discrepancies between the laws of different countries regarding what is an illegal drug, as well as individual states within the US.

5. Finally, after taking in all feedback with Painties and speaking with our Paintie moderators, we have completely revamped the Painties rule page in a way we hope clarifies everything regarding Paintie rules. We have been struggling with the inventive ways that players are creating some Painties, but unfortunately some are created in ways we did not intend for our bases to be used. We hope that this guide clarifies what we consider permissible for the use of our bases and helps clear confusion.

That now covers all the rules that have been changed thanks to your feedback. We also wanted to let you know that moderator applications are now closed. We received over a thousand applications and have hired our team. We do not yet have an ETA on releasing the forums as the moderators are occupied with ironing out issues with Painties. We will provide you an update when we have an idea of when the forums will be ready to re-release.

Last, here are a list of changes that have been implemented since Monday, the majority of them from suggestions e-mailed to us:
- grayed out Change Career button when idle
- destroy unwanted recipes from career page
- removed white gradient on long Private Messages
- Transfer Currency / Transfer Item on user page
- horizontal scrollbar appear in the message box when needed
- view all recipes/their reagents for reference: searching items in the museum now provides a list of reagents (for recipes), or a link to the recipe that crafts the item, or links to all recipes that use the item
- placed a button in the blacksmith career page that straight away takes you to repair requests
- Villagers page indicates which villagers are sick and with what
- item pages now include links to NPC shops if the item stocks there
- Paintie Removal button to strip a Paintie from a villager at the user's request
- the following items can now be used from the inventory on villagers who are not the active villager: medicines, pets, recipes, costumes, species potions, hp potions

    • As Far as the lower attack on the oceandome weapons its not really a problem. The enemies are so ridiculously easy to kill with one of those even without a high attack weapon and the durability more then makes up for the low attack. Narwhal Spear + Frozen bone Shield and most things are killed in 1 hit, a few require 2 - 3 hits and only the super boss might be a problem.

I am all for only the weapon you use being counted towards your attack. It would make having a medium grind weapon like those from oceandome with high durability and then a high attack weapon with lower durability actually more reasonable. But not all weapons equipped should lose a durability point even when not used. I am thinking this has to be a glitch. I feel sorry for those who lost weapons because of it. Luckily I realized before mine dropped to 0.

Also I agree with Charlen the material drops really need some tweeking. I was able to make several of my high attack(if you can call +25 high attack) long before I gathered what was needed to make the lower attack weapon. Also that helmet better be a god weapon for the material it requires as I can make several costumes instead of it.

    • I can fully understand why the battle system was changed, it was just wrong that you could use one of the OP weapons in your slot BUT attack with the crap ones with the same attack power. This way you only had to repair 3 minutes and could bascially endless farm/grind the enemies. Now you have atleast some sort of cooldown again cause you need to repair your "real" weapon.

No use really for the weaker weapons now though, as I will just use my good attack one and just repair that one. The system with durability/attack between the weapons crafted from different citys seems however still really unbalanced. No use to have good durability if you get nothing down lol. Might have to overthink that better/have not soo high differences between the weapons (so not 25 durability vs 200, and 160 dmg vs 60 but like 150 vs 200 and maybe 160 vs 100 there or something)

But it generally feels like that with the villages, some are really just better than the others as they have better stuff (better weapons, the rare potions, ..)

    • Ugh, I was wondering what was up; wasn't sure if I was only just noticing that weapons randomly dropped durability each battle or if that was a new change. Unintentionally broke a bunch of weapons in the process because I wasn't paying close attention while doing the rounds. :|

Combat and the requirements for crafting equipment are both overall ridiculously poorly balanced. *All* of Quetzal Palace's weapons and shields (nix the helmet) require defeating 25 enemies to wield and have 50 max durability--and the weaker weapon and shield are both worthless except to train Blacksmith when you happen to have the materials on hand since their ingredients are a much bigger time sink to gather.

    • Lanian Yeah I noticed that for Oceandome's Narwhal Spear. Max 200 durability, 25 damage. Nice for sweeping the runts, but for the big one (which is utter nightmare fuel here XD) you'll wanna pack a punch!

    • Kijame Hey!I have weapons that have 200 durability which is nice.But I can't kill a super rare mob because i deal like 60 max damage ;-;

    • Blacktiger5 Yeah, Oceandome and Foxbury bummed out when it comes to Attack (whereas we bummed out for durability). Message me and maybe we can work out a weapon trade? I'm always interested in increasing my Blacksmiths' skill levels and I do want to craft each item from each village at least once :D

    • Kijame I'm in a village which don't have strong weapons to craft (25 damage is the highest). And I don't have the money to buy 10 good weapons with high durability for my warriors.
Maybe I should just change the village xD

    • Yeah, the weapon issue is game-breaking at the moment. The Battle system wasn't well-designed in the first place (Damage applying from one weapon across ALL weapons?! Huh?), but to make durability come off at random makes it too ridiculously cumbersome to use a warrior at all. It's just not fun, and the sheer, insane amount of drops you need from them to make *anything* only adds to the frustration, since you can only send each warrior into 5 battles at a time before wandering off again.

Until this is fixed, I'm switching most of my Warriors to Animal Husbandry, where at least there is a reward for playing with them. Warriors now cost more to play with than they earn, especially if you are in a area (like the Oceandome) with NO decent native weapons, meaning you have to buy from the good weapon places like Dragon's Maw and the "favorite child" who literally gets all the best things in every possible way: Quetzal's Palace.

I hope this is a bug, but, if not, it NEEDS to be thought through. It's costing people a LOT of money and resources, and they didn't even warn us about it. If it's a bug, well, this is Beta and bugs are expected. If it's intentional, then that's just NOT cool.

    • Oh man, and I just switched a bunch of villagers over to Warrior for a while. Good thing I came to check on this before running around clubbing on monsters and not paying attention to the durability of the other weapons. D:

    • Advertising that I take paintie commissions for a range of currencies at a Pay what you want rate. (These include on-site currencies and premium/real currencies)
Information is available on my profile, as well as examples. And I'll be spending tomorrow working on the painties. (Whether I have commissions on here or not, lol)
