We have been consolidating and reviewing a lot of feedback on various rules we have, and are happy to announce that all of the updated rules have been released.

1. The Terms of Service no longer forbids breasts, but instead focuses entirely on nipple exposure. Breasts are now allowed on Painties as well as artwork posted on Furvilla provided they follow the nipple rule. We feel this best represents a SFW environment while also not implying sexualization of people with that body shape.

2. The Terms of Service clarify our position on game asset trading with other browser games. The short answer is, we are fine with trading, however, we would like you to wait until the game is out of beta before doing so.

3. The Code of Conduct now indicates that CSS should not be used to cover or alter game stat information, including hiding or altering your or your villager's stats, or replacing your villager's image with CSS.

4. Our Forum Rules have now been updated to indicate that the phrase 'illegal drugs' refers to United States federal law, as there are discrepancies between the laws of different countries regarding what is an illegal drug, as well as individual states within the US.

5. Finally, after taking in all feedback with Painties and speaking with our Paintie moderators, we have completely revamped the Painties rule page in a way we hope clarifies everything regarding Paintie rules. We have been struggling with the inventive ways that players are creating some Painties, but unfortunately some are created in ways we did not intend for our bases to be used. We hope that this guide clarifies what we consider permissible for the use of our bases and helps clear confusion.

That now covers all the rules that have been changed thanks to your feedback. We also wanted to let you know that moderator applications are now closed. We received over a thousand applications and have hired our team. We do not yet have an ETA on releasing the forums as the moderators are occupied with ironing out issues with Painties. We will provide you an update when we have an idea of when the forums will be ready to re-release.

Last, here are a list of changes that have been implemented since Monday, the majority of them from suggestions e-mailed to us:
- grayed out Change Career button when idle
- destroy unwanted recipes from career page
- removed white gradient on long Private Messages
- Transfer Currency / Transfer Item on user page
- horizontal scrollbar appear in the message box when needed
- view all recipes/their reagents for reference: searching items in the museum now provides a list of reagents (for recipes), or a link to the recipe that crafts the item, or links to all recipes that use the item
- placed a button in the blacksmith career page that straight away takes you to repair requests
- Villagers page indicates which villagers are sick and with what
- item pages now include links to NPC shops if the item stocks there
- Paintie Removal button to strip a Paintie from a villager at the user's request
- the following items can now be used from the inventory on villagers who are not the active villager: medicines, pets, recipes, costumes, species potions, hp potions

    • Kijame Now I'm tempted to look at the other Dragon's Maw monsters.... hold my Super Rares I'm going in!

    • Kitty Don't say I didn't warn you ;D Calling the Tormented squicky would be an understatement. The rest are varying degrees of eww, but that one takes the nightmare cake XD

    • I'm glad that I checked the comments before breaking all of my valuable weapons. I felt the warrior career was already broken because of the crafted weapons make you OP. Now it's even more broken.
I tried switching out the weapon to the right element one before every battle, but it took so much time. I'll try leaving on the 50 and 75 damage ones and hit everything with that.

If that doesn't work then I'll switch all 5 of my warriors to animal husbandry which is unbalanced as well, but less than the new warrior career.

Quagthistle I agree. That would be obviously the best choice. And after that either tweaking the recipe ingredients or the loot or the rarity of the monsters you fight or all 3.

    • Kijame
Yikes so I decided to look up Dragon's Maw's Super Rare and.... wow. Nope. No. Nuh-uh. *punts it to space*

In comparison, QP's Super Rare is so zen. 300?cb=20150427064451

    • I wish we could swap more than once. Something like once a month would allow people to 'conquer' villages and not abuse the swap system. As the game is still in Beta I am sticking with oceandome as who knows what is to come for the future of the city.

    • As far as village swapping goes I originally, upon joining this game, wanted to go to Quetzal Palace because I liked it most, but as a dragon lover it sounded like Dragonsmaw was more fit (plus, up in the sky, they kill dragons for weapons, nuuu!). Of course given that there was next to no information on the village choosing screen I had no idea that I basically landed in Halloweentown XD Our monsters are nightmare fuel, with the super rare one being high octane nightmare fuel. I hope we don't have too many kids there XD

I mean I'm glad they added a village change option and lately I've had an affinity for Foxbury's medieval theme, but I'm still on the fence about the balancing. I'm not in a hurry to swap though, I still got some unfinished Dragonsmaw business xD

    • Quagthistle

Well everyone has a free village swap lol. I picked Palace first cause of the nice pink but I would be more a water person but then now that I read that Palace is pretty OP compared to other villages, I will prolly not swap :(

I was like thinking: What water pets are ugly? How? There is so much cute water pets in real life, they can not be ugly..... Then I checked your pets... Holy crap, THEY ARE UGLY. Why not make cute water mini pets like little seahorses and stuff?

    • *2 out of 5, derp.

    • I generally agree that the lootsystem for Warriors needed more fixing than the weapons themselves. Or rather, that that was a higher priority, haha. I could probably make 3 or more costumes from all the drops I gathered while hunting down 100 tokens. 500 for the helmet seems rather utopic and I wonder if I'd be better off crafting more costumes, but I wanna forge at least one helmet in my lifetime XD

Tevie The wiki has finally got some info on some of the helmets (last I checked, 2 out of 3) and they seem to give a bonus to DMG as well as HP, so there's that! Whether it is worth the grinding in the longrun remains to be tested XD

    • Charien - Not only does Quetzal's Palace get better weapons, better-looking costumes, and better Potions, but your pets look AWESOME! The Oceandome pets look like rejects from a mutagenic ooze factory, while yours look so lovely! They even gave the good water pets (like a Sea Lion they mislabeled as a Seal) to Tiger's Eye Peak. There's literally NO reason to be in the Oceandome unless you, like me, just love the ocean (and want to help them balance it for future ocean-fans, so it isn't such a gosh-aweful place to live).

That said, yeah, I really regret picking the Oceandome. If I had it to do over again, I'd pick Quetzal's Palace or possibly Tiger's Eye (at least they have a decent weapon... and Sea Lions!).

As for the weapon thing, it has made Warriors incredibly cumbersome to use. You have to start a battle, decide which weapon you want to use against the monster, leave battle, unequip your weapon, equip the one you want to use, go back into battle, and defeat the monster. That makes battling MUCH more cumbersome.

It really would be MUCH better if they just did the blatently OBVIOUS thing: each weapon's attack bonuses only apply when using that weapon, and durability comes off the weapon you use. If you use a +25 dmg weapon, it adds +25 to your base 5 damage, and it loses a durability point. How is that hard to figure out? That's how I assumed the system worked at first because it's so insanely obvious a solution.
