Terms of Service Changes

We have altered our Terms of Service to clarify and address two points of concern raised to our support channels by players.
1) The Terms no longer forbid "exposed female nipples" and "exposed female breasts," but instead all exposed nipples and all exposed breasts.
2) Players hold the copyright to their user-submitted content (such as forum posts), and provide Furvilla with an industry-standard license to use that content to display it to other Furvilla players.
3) Furvilla owns the copyright to its bases, as well as all derivative works of them. However, players retain the copyright to their characters and designs.
Thank you for your feedback and we hope these changes address the concerns.

Gosh, I was refusing to make Painties due to the sheer factor that I rather enjoy my copyright to my characters and felt really uncomfortable submitting any art. Glad to see this has been cleared up, I'm so happy because of that now!

im not sure if this should be the right place to add a suggestion, since you're all getting a huge amount of comments-- but
1. i think the painty page should redirect to a gallery of painties done by members, rather than redirecting to painty upload.
seeing others painties is a huge part of this community, and id love to be able to browse freely on a single page, rather than having to refresh to see new ones. sometimes we'll miss out on a bunch of painties too, since we're not always online. so i though this would be a good idea. itd be great also if in said gallery, the painties were in full display, rather than cropped icons, for easier browsing, rather than having to click to zoom in.
2. character interactions! a friend of mine and i were thinking that having lil interactions would bring members closer together. have our villagers, for example poke, wave, offer a hug, offer snack, leave a gift, etc to another villager.
i know the site is still in beta, and this might be in planning, but thought id mention it anyways c:
3. im not entirely sure how painty options work just yet, but i think each villager should have the option to select from 3 individual painties.
for example, some characters have seasonal coats, others have alternate outfits, and some might wanna dress up for a holiday, etc. so i thought id be a neat idea if each villager had access to 3 painties. these painty slots could be bought or unlocked as well, to make it more interesting! it can even be more slots, as well.
4. unlockable custom pets. maybe at some point, once reached a certain level, you can buy a slot to a custom pet?

Carina Well, I'd assume there is fur (or feathers, or scales) in the way so you can have shirtless villagers, just nothing super defined.
So let me get this straight; no shirtless photos of any gender? At all? Unless we censor the nip nops?
These are great updates and I appreciate the inclusive terminology! I also really appreciate the sidebar it's such a good addition considering the lag issue!! I also really appreciate the rights as far as paintie characters/designs being cleared up!
I think the only big concern right now is the illnesses - though I totally understand their neccessity to the game, they're a little bit unforgiving right now, and considering they change so often I can be preparing a cure for one villager only for them to suddenly change and I need to wait it out until I can make the new cure. Maybe making it so sick villagers can't change illness might help!
