Terms of Service Changes

We have altered our Terms of Service to clarify and address two points of concern raised to our support channels by players.
1) The Terms no longer forbid "exposed female nipples" and "exposed female breasts," but instead all exposed nipples and all exposed breasts.
2) Players hold the copyright to their user-submitted content (such as forum posts), and provide Furvilla with an industry-standard license to use that content to display it to other Furvilla players.
3) Furvilla owns the copyright to its bases, as well as all derivative works of them. However, players retain the copyright to their characters and designs.
Thank you for your feedback and we hope these changes address the concerns.
For pricing things- anyone have an approximations of the FC to FD conversion rate atm??
AsheGaming I strongly disagree with your "feeding young is just an excuse to show them" line. Nipples (like many other body parts) can be sexual in the right context or to certain people, but are not inherently so. If you wanna cover up any body part that could potentially be a turn on for anybody, you'd end up with a mummy. :x
That said, I was one of the people who spoke up loudest on the "female nipple" topic and I'm very happy it's been addressed! I feel similarly to Mutiny on the topic, and while it would be nice if we could skip ahead to a point in the future where our bodies aren't seen as inherently dirty, society isn't there yet. With that in mind, a blanket ban on all of them is probably the safest, most fair, and fits best with the trans (and intersex)-inclusive nature of the site. :] That makes me feel a lot more welcome here.
I propose that major diseases can only hit 1-3 villagers max, depending on your total amount of villagers. If all your villagers get a major disease you're pretty much stuck until the free cure the next day.
The Beginner's Boon is back everyone! They said on their Twitter it could have disappeared while they were fixing another bug.
Well said, Howl .
Arioch1530 Communities yes please please please!
Maybe you could have like a 1-2 day temp immunity from all diseases after being cured, and gain a 5% perm immunity to the disease you were cured for?
The perm immunity could backfire in the long run though, so maybe have it only add up to a 50% immunity total or something similar?
The most important thing for everyone in the comments to remember is: this is a beta. There will be mechanics that are frustrating or don't work the way people would like them to, but that's because we're here in order to help the programmers and admins decide on how they should work at the game's proper release. If you find any issues, such as with illnesses or any of the career mechanics - good job! You're doing what a beta player is supposed to! However, complaining about them won't do anything. The right thing to do is to raise the issue, preferably directly to the mods or support rather than in the comments section of an unrelated news post, and it's up to them to decide how to handle it and how to change the game to accommodate it. With how quickly other changes have been made (the Herbalist update, for example) we should be glad that the game has such a dedicated team working behind it to make things easier for us all!
Ironheart Just throwing money at an issue isn't good game play design when it's balanced against RNG that never seems to work in the player's favor. It is far too easy to fall down a hole and a ton of effort to get out of it, with the possibility of getting so stuck that all you can do is release your villagers and start over.
My herbalist is down with a major illness which means I can't process any herbs for my doctor. Not that my doctor can make the cure I need anyway since the material requirements are huge and my current efficiency will be 10%. I already used my daily cure to heal my doctor - who had a major illness.
I've seen inoculation potions and temporary disease immunity after being healed tossed out as possible solutions and that would sure help a ton. Because right now I'm just getting slammed with disease after disease and don't have the resources to hope for a cure.
This isn't a huge issue but one that is a bit inconvenient. Sometimes when I'm exploring when I click on the button to continue my exploration, instead of doing so it will close the screen and refresh the page. Again, not a huge deal but when it happens multiple times in a row it can make me a bit exasperated. (I suppose it's possible it's just me somehow, but I really don't know how that could be since I click squarely in the center of the "continue exploration" button.)
Illnesses are way too common and frustrating. This is a really un-fun part of the game.
