"Hello friend,
In case you have forgotten my name, I am Priscilla.
As Chief Clawtooth's Master of Quill, I am responsible for crafting our people's attire. The Chief is most proud of his Lion Warriors.
Chief Clawtooth and Sage Ismene asked me to teach your people how to dress like our warriors. If you prove yourself truly worthy, you may even be blessed with your own lion spirit to guide you.
I have met one of your generous shopkeepers who has agreed to give out the patterns for free."

Heya! Quinn here!
Looks like we have a new costume you can craft!
--------------
The standard Lion Warrior Costume is similar in difficulty to craft as the other costumes. It gives you bonuses in warrior and explorer careers. You will need to craft a Lion Stone as part of the costume's recipe.
--------------
The premium Blessed Lion Warrior Costume is geared to those who really want to beef up their costume. It increases your maximum warrior charges by 10!
Also, you get a cool lion spirit!
It will take quite abit to craft, including the Lion Gem, which is currently only available in the FurDollar Emporium for 750 FD.
--------------
The recipes for both costumes as well as the Lion Stone are available at The Fair Exchange.
Short on ingredients? Don't fret! You can find them as drops in the Spirit Lions battlegrounds. Also, keep exploring!
Finally, want to make painties? Look here in the "Lion Warrior" folder for bases! Note that you can only use the line art for the spirit lions if you have a Blessed Lion Warrior Costume. However, you are free to draw your own background spirit for either costume!

As some one who whants to buy the thing for the top 10 charges boost (you can't blame me for this! I've been saving my FD for this kind of chances.), I have only one question.
If a put the blessed costume on my bear warrior and in the future they release a lion costumed bear, will I be forced to remove the paintie he actually has?
Serious question.
I don't normally comment on stuff like this but I have to say. It's pretty crappy putting stuff behind a paywall like this.
Luckyclaw I can’t agree more with you. That is brilliantly laid out, and pretty much laid out the overall user base gripe with this.
...not only did this news just go against everything the userbase had been told about getting the costume for nearly a year, but it just made the entire costume worse. There was no indication that the lion spirits would be gated off behind such a massive paywall, and the promised buff of +10 is absolutely not worth that money. It only allows you to have more charges after you walk away from the computer for a while. Then, on top of that, now the spirit (which was the point of the costume) is locked behind that 7$. Not even counting what it costs to get the equipment in the first place.
+10 charges is really what the basic Warrior and Angelic costumes should have had in the first place. It constantly came up when costume buffs were discussed that the second buffs were useless; duplicating the warrior buff from +5 to +10 should have been included from the get-go. Will Warrior and Angelic now have their own super special FDE-only version? I remember months ago, I had a concern that the Lion Warrior costume would be so super special that it would end up driving conversation on the buffs of other costumes getting fixed. Seems like that's reality now.
People aren't against more FD options on FV, but to take a user costume and split it in twain like this, after people had been hyped and waiting for months (hype the site was pushing on them with all the lion warrior events and battlegrounds mind you) was a very poor decision. After all this favoritism and hype and pushing of the lion warrior costume in addition to all the other lion-themed happenings, and now the LW costume has two special versions and no one else. It's a last straw for a lot of people who had been tired of Lionvilla.
Maybe this was rationalized by saying, "Well now there will be a more basic version of this costume that has the beloved explore and warrior buffs on one costume. The users will be happy." But then why did you take the spirit (the biggest part of the costume) and lock it behind the stringent paywall? After the spirit alone was teased in its own explore events? There is so much poor communication here and it's coming to a head. This outrage could have been avoided with a small degree of transparency with the users.
A lot less people will be upset if the spirit is just allowed for both versions. Many people had paintie plans which were completely dashed by this news. It's not okay enough that they can just draw their own spirit-- the entire point of Kiwi art is that it's high quality, matching to the bases, and free to edit. In fact, it would be better for both versions to just use the spirit art and include the no-spirit as an available paintie option (like the zombunny and blue holiday canine).
You're putting line art behind a pay wall while the rest of the costumes are free to use?
Look I make a habit not to complain about this game. But this is bull crap. A pay wall of OVER five dollars for a user made item? This is getting absurd now.
This is really just not a good look on you at all admins. I'm beyond disappointed.
Why would you make us grind just to lock it behind a freakin' pay wall!?
thanks notowner-redacted for this wonderful user custom made item
"I have met one of your generous shopkeepers who has agreed to give out the patterns for free." What pattern is this referring to?
Like yeah I read it's a premium thing but also like.. how about you don't lol. Stop making the warrior career pay to win for the love of god
Okay so not similar in difficulty at all then lol
