Greetings, villagers! As you may have noticed we received a massive influx of players over the last day. This is far more than our little team of moderators can handle, so we're looking to expand our moderator team, and welcome some new Player Safety members! If you are interested in applying for a moderator position, please send a message to [email protected] with the following: your Furvilla username, your age, your location and time zone, your prior moderation experience, and why you'd like to be a moderator on Furvilla. Please note that we can only accept applications from players aged eighteen or older.

Also, we have a message to share from MOD-Deinmaar, the Head of Community, who would like to address some issues with our current moderators' actions:

The moderators owe the entire Furvilla Community a massive apology. The deletion of many, many threads that never actually violated the Terms of Service wasn't right of us, and we are working to rectify and retrain our team before we open the forums and chats again to make sure this is never an issue again. Miscommunication is no excuse, and we gravely apologize for the trauma this has caused many users who did absolutely nothing wrong. We sincerely hope you enjoy the rest of the site while we work diligently to right our wrongs.

Furvilla has received a much higher amount of registrations than we were prepared for and we're working to ensure our Forums and Chatrooms are welcoming to all members. Please bear with us while we hire additional help! In the meantime, if you haven't gotten a chance, please be sure to read the Newbie Guide and continue your enjoyment of the game.

Have a lovely night!

    • Ah darn! Wish I wasn't 13.

    • Okey glad to hear that! I have few thinks that are hopefully not impossible after the BETA to add. I would like to see some kind of mark which would indicate that user is online so it will be easier to message with people and get the messages a bit easier to notice. Even with the notification and the messages on right. When the forums are up message notification gets easily down where I can't see it and it's hard to notice the text under user picture so maybe some little icon could appear on user icon to indicate message instead? These are just suggestion and I've loved the game this far it's been amazing even with few bugs but that is expected for the first few days! Sorry to sound pushy with those suggestion and I did not mean to sound demanding. Hope to see at least town based forums coming up at some point back if not all forums thanks for quick work with the site!

    • emailed in an app. I hope to be apart of the site and help it grow, it has a lot of potential for being a great site once all the kinks are ironed out

    • thank you for your apology, and same on those who are saying where have the 22 mods gone, thats only 22 mods for over 5k people, and if only 1 in 5 people make a thread thats 1000 threads, thats 50 threads roughly each they have to monitor with people posting ever few seconds to a minute per thread thats a lot of work! and no matter how much somethings advertised no one realy expects 5k people in a few hours! so thank you or your apology, keep up the amazing work and thank you for all your amazing hard work!!! ^.^

    • I'm super happy you guys are working hard to fix this. <3
Good luck on finding new mods!

    • All the best in recruiting new mods and thanks for the hardwork. (:

Since forums are down and it could be tough for people's that is new to navigate through the site... If anyone has any questions in regards to furvilla villager progression etc. Feel free to mail me. I'll try my best to answer.

    • I'm really glad the mod applications were opened. I've been around too many forums with too few mods.

But I do hope this gets sorted out quickly. o(TヘTo) Was going to work through my shop thread but it was suddenly gone and I didn't save any of the references since I was on my phone.

    • Good luck in finding new mods, you're doing a great job! I would have applied but I never had experience in this field before, so I'm inappropriate ^^' However, I'm happy to see this community growing, this game is great! =)

    • I honestly couldn't have hoped for more when I read this article/update. It's transparent, honest, and basically everything that very few game Devs and companies are now and days. The fact that a staffed Mod actually made a public statement--and apology--warms my heart and makes me think that FV is really going to be going places. It'll be a community. One founded on sound principles of mutual respect, honesty, openness and, in a way, good sportsmanship. The community wouldn't have these over and undertones if the Admins, the Devs, and the Mods didn't believe in such things themselves. At least those values would not exist within the site itself (moving off site to blogs and so on to talk about issues and resolve conflicts there) and this really is a good, an healthy way to start things on Day Two.

I've been Beta/Alpha testing for a while now, and you guys are the only ones with an actual game and site that is addressing problems as they occur and not simply banhammering people because of said problems.

I'm really looking forward to watching FurVilla grow and spread its wings. :D (And I'm kicking around submitting a mod app.)

      Much respect!

    • Been doing my best to stay out of the ridiculousness. Drama is, after all, one of the things Furries do best, unfortunately. I'm glad to see some real action being taken, though. And I definitely respect the decision to take down the forums until they can be appropriately moderated. You guys are doing the best you can with your small team, and I know it's really hard to wrangle thousands of people with only a handful of staff.
