We have some changes coming soon to the Feast!

The basic structure and function of the Feast, as well as the cooking career, will remain generally the same. However, we are making important changes to prizes and placement.

These plans are scheduled to go into effect for February's Feast. Please read them carefully.

One Villager Per Account May Register for the Feast

You will no longer need to feed multiple villagers to obtain a mini-pet set. Each pet prize tier will award two pets.

Tiers Instead of Places

Starting with February's Feast, prizes will be awarded in tiers. This means that any number of players will be able to reach each prize tier, and you will be able to plan ahead for a Feast knowing just how many food points you will need to earn the prize you desire.

The tiers are as follows:

A player will earn the prizes from the tier they achieve, as well as each tier surpassed on the ladder, with the exception of trophies.

Your villager will receive the trophy for their profile which corresponds to the highest tier they achieve, if applicable.

10 Points - Common Animal x2, Used Food Wrapper

25 Points - Uncommon Animal x2, Feast Button (button will change each month)

100 Points - Rare Animal x2, Feast Participant Ribbon Keepsake

500 Points - Super Rare Animal x2, Bronze Trophy

1500 Points - Magical Sweetiecorn, Silver Trophy

5000 Points - Worker Slot Coupon, Gold Trophy

The new item, Used Food Wrapper Is quite mysterious! I do believe that those who hold onto many wrappers will eventually be rewarded! Er... eventually!

About Worker Totems

Worker Slot Totem will be pulled from the top prize tier. It will be replaced with Worker Slot Coupon, which will function the same way as the totem, but is untradable.

Worker Slot Totem will be moved to the FurDollar Emporium.

Ingredient Availability

In an effort to make sure that cooking ingredients do not price spike out of control due to the above changes, we will be running new multi-skill-level rotating battlegrounds as well as an explore event that will drop common cooking ingredients. Look for these events to start within the next few days.

We also have several new recipes on the way!

Downtime as We Make Changes

The site will go down at 11:55 PM on January 31st to implement the above changes.

This means that the Feast will conclude at 11:55 PM, not Midnight.

Do not plan to feed past 11:55 PM on January 31st for the current Feast.

You will be able to start feeding your registered villager for the month once the site comes back online.

    • Alekzy From above! "A player will earn the prizes from the tier they achieve, as well as each tier surpassed on the ladder, with the exception of trophies. Your villager will receive the trophy for their profile which corresponds to the highest tier they achieve, if applicable."

darzie Keep in mind that you do get a pair of pets now, instead of just one. This averages to less points that would be normally needed for 2 pets, with the added bonus of a guaranteed number to hit. Also remember that feast pets are breedable, so if you miss a SR tier one month, there is another option!

Nebbi We have many more features in development for Furvilla. I'm sure we can get some more paintie tickets out there in the future!

    • I'm really happy about these changes! I understand that others like the competitive aspect of it but to me it always felt completely unattainable to get the magical sweeticorn or worker slot, considering I'd be up against people with a lot more time and money than me. Thank you for the change!

    • Just curious, if we hit a higher tier, will we get the prizes for lower tiers, button ribbon etc?

    • [ Happy Yakerisu sound ]

    • I'm a little sad super rare pets will be so much more expensive to get. I don't think I've ever managed to do 500 feast points before.

    • So excited! These changes all sound awesome. I used to feed three pets so I wouldn't have to breed change after stuffing two pets, but this change is much easier, so I don't mind having to buy breeding potions if two come the same gender. Thank you!

    • I can see what was brought up about not a lot of people participating.

I have to agree with you on the FD/FP conversion. I can imagine the amount sunk into it.

    • FoxyCipher I understand! However, it seems the overwhelming majority of players aren't as keen on a competitive feature, especially one that has such a desirable prize. ;)

The leader board will still be visible for "bragging rights" so personal point goals and friendly competition is something that can still happen.

Also, the staff member who comes up with the feast pet ideas is always the same person - they always have adorable ideas!!

    • @Treble_da_Doggo msjanny You are both on the right track price-wise!

RedlaSunShowers029 If you mean the Participation Ribbon, Food Wrapper, Worker Coupon and button prizes, yes. :)

    • I'm all for the new Feast system, but what concerns me is that the competitive nature of the Feast will be lost with the new system. With different "tiers" of prizes to earn instead of fighting for your place at the top, I believe that many players will lose interest in competing. It just seems... kinda boring! (No offense to the amazing mods and their genius ideas, I swear!!!)

All I can say with certainty is that I hope the new Feast pets are just as desirable and adorable as their predecessors! ^w^
