Hey everyone!
It's a bit sad to say, but we've had an influx of multi-accounters lately; people have intentionally been exploiting the mass award system to gain multiple copies of various items. This sort of behaviour is extremely unfair on those who play legitimately.
Previously we updated the rules to state that multi-accounters will have all their currency wiped. People have claimed this is unfair - and while I agree to some extent that losing all your progress is unfair, cheating & exploiting the economy is a serious offense, and there's no simple way to go through and decide what items are legitimate due to the extensive amount of trading players do.
To that end, I'd like to remind people to stop multi-accounting. If you are multi-accounting currently, please send a report - you won't receive an infraction, and we'll manually track down and remove items where appropriate. This amnesty period only applies through to Jan 1.
To reinforce the message:
If you do not come forward with a report, when you are caught multi-accounting all items and currency will be removed from your account. You will not be able to appeal this.
Uh i had an account for a friend... will this be wiped?
I have an old account I'd forgotten about but registration isn't even complete because I'd gotten distracted. I made it like a year ago? It's Galactica and there's no items or anything and I never used it. Is there a way to delete it, since I won't ever use it?
My sibling use to play for a short time a while ago. I can't remember her username but I think we might have shared some stuff with each other. I hope that's okay.
But what about my sister? She sent me some things because she just recently signed up and I'm holding them for her while she is getting her account all set up. I also sent her a villager before. We share the IP address because of course we live and go to the same school together.
i have a friend who doesn't play often who sometimes sends me things and helps me breed pets. i don't know if that looks suspicious, though we don't share IP's.. i draw for him in return sometimes

Well, like others have said. If shared IP is an issue, I just want to say that I share one now with my partner SilentCartoon.
I share IP addresses with the following:

One is a family member and another is an exchange student
The computer I use is a family one in our living room that's why there are a lot of different accounts logged in, some are friends checking their accounts during hanging out and stuff :O
please lmk if shared ips is an issue!! my bros also have accounts on here but aren't as invested as I am uuwu
If shared IP is a problem, which I hope it isn't, I'd like to say that Tailed-Axolotl is my younger sibling, who I'm trying to get to play more, and my older sibling Llamas-R-Us doesn't play anymore but sends me things occasionally!!
I hope it's not a problem that me and my pal send stuff for each other every now and then! :o
