Open Beta

Furvilla will be in open beta registration from July 1st - July 8th. During this period, any player who is interested in engaging in the open beta is welcome to register an account. Accounts will be given a beta trophy upon registration that will remain with their account when launch is scheduled. After the registration period, the game will commence through beta until it is prepared for launch, in which registration will open again.

A note about beta testing: the goals of beta testing are finding and eliminating bugs in the game as well as attempting to balance to economy. Ideally, the amount of money and items flowing into the economy from the game's features should equal the amount of money and items flowing out of the economy into the features. We may reset currency/items, accounts, or features as we work to balance the game so it's fun without being too hard or too easy. We anticipate that players will be able to keep their accounts, but they may not be able to keep all the contents of the account.

A note on premium currency: the premium currency (FurDollar) functions are working right now. While we don't anticipate having to reset premium currencies or items, please know that if we do (such as a bug is discovered that generates premium currency) we will promptly return the currency and items to their purchasers immediately after.

    • I'd like to be able to browse the user stalls without having to search for a specific item. I don't know what all the items look like! I'd love to just browse user stalls and see what various furs have to offer without having a specific purchase in mind already


    • One thing I found was when I went to hire a villager instead of creating a second one. It showed that it was loading but I waited about 30 minutes and it didn't hire it or load so I had to refresh the page. I ended up creating a new villager instead. Also, I am experiencing quite a bit of lag as well. Hope this helps.

      I was offline, not logged in at all and my warrior didn't even gain a single hp!


    • I'm also wondering, why is there an option to "make an offer" in shops when you can't haggle like you could in Neopets all those years ago? It just seems like typing in the price they're asking is another unneccesary step.


    • I'm glad to see some changes have already been made! Like the ability to buy in bulk, also sorting stalls by FC or FD which I said I was hoping to see and it's already done, impressive!

      Considering the lag and need to find mods you should consider giving out a 24 hour notice that the beta will be closing early. That way a few people who haven't signed up but we're meaning to still have the chance and it isn't just closed abruptly, also giving you guys the chance to catch up.

      What's really needed now is easier ways to trade and an auction house. So when people do finally unlock costumes they could be auctioned off at high prices. Also I've heard trading is very difficult.

      Also it has been mentioned it's difficult to access the careers of villagers that aren't active. I suggest that like the active villager bar on the side you should include a section with all the villagers and their careers. You could include an arrow to scroll through quickly because it shouldn't show more than 2-3 at a time or it would get to cluttered, it would make access easier for everyone!

      Glad to see the staff are listening to suggestions and already making changes. I would love to help out if at all possible with creative aspects, and will probably be putting in a forum mod app soon.


    • Being able to see the cooldowns count down on the career pages of each villager would be a great feature to add. My major concern, though, is that there's no incentive to sell your goods or materials to other players because they are sold for so little and you cant make a profit. I've seen materials worth 10 sellback points being sold 10 for 1 FC, and it just makes more sense to resell everything. I wish it was more fun to participate in buying and selling goods with other players.


    • I've noticed that for the Painties that the files aren't transparent, so if you change the website's theme, you can see the whit BGs on the file. It's not too much of a concerns since it's more of an aesthetic issue but I thought I should mention it


    • The stall search is incredibly difficult unless you know the exact name if the item you're looking for. For example, I'm trying to find weapons but everything I type in does not produce results. (I'm guessing weapon names)


    • I'm under the impression the trophies are for when you donate to get premium currency? :o


    • I have come across the herbalists profession to have a small problem with plant gathering. When you click is does indeed disappear and the item will appear in your inventory even when you have no seen it fail to be gathered or not. I noticed that as my villager is completely new to herbalism i was obtaining the items when the glitch happened. I got the items and it didn't even tell me if i failed or not.

      There is another bug in villager creation that is very minor but sometimes it can confuse. Sometimes the images do not show the right class that is selected. Example: selection is on Wolf and the pictures are Rodents even when i have not even picked rodent.

      The load times are also somewhat inconvenient for those who do not have time to sit and wait for the hourly wait times. I bet this will get fixed i just wanted to bring it into light as it is not a bug.
