Open Beta

Furvilla will be in open beta registration from July 1st - July 8th. During this period, any player who is interested in engaging in the open beta is welcome to register an account. Accounts will be given a beta trophy upon registration that will remain with their account when launch is scheduled. After the registration period, the game will commence through beta until it is prepared for launch, in which registration will open again.
A note about beta testing: the goals of beta testing are finding and eliminating bugs in the game as well as attempting to balance to economy. Ideally, the amount of money and items flowing into the economy from the game's features should equal the amount of money and items flowing out of the economy into the features. We may reset currency/items, accounts, or features as we work to balance the game so it's fun without being too hard or too easy. We anticipate that players will be able to keep their accounts, but they may not be able to keep all the contents of the account.
A note on premium currency: the premium currency (FurDollar) functions are working right now. While we don't anticipate having to reset premium currencies or items, please know that if we do (such as a bug is discovered that generates premium currency) we will promptly return the currency and items to their purchasers immediately after.
Happy testing!
Do the Beta Trophies go on automatically after registration to everyone? I don't seem to have any Trophies at all.
id like to try :3 idk how to ask!
not sure if this is the right place for suggestions, but maybe consider adding an Adopt button to the page of wandering villagers? there's a different villager every time the Town Hall refreshes, and i like to check the profile of wanderers beforehand. i think a direct adopt button would be pretty handy.
I think that a tutorial for newbies could be a good idea. Also I think that prices are very high It takes too long to get more villagers. I hope you can translate this page to other languages soon It is a little tired having to use the translator all the time.
I've been gone for about an hour and a half and none of my HP's been restored! :(
I like several things about this so far, but I would think about adding some dailies, to gain FC and help towards acquiring more slots for villagers. Also, I might have missed it, but an article or addition to the newbie guide stating what it is that the initial explorer mats can go toward might be helpful. I'm not sure what I should be keeping and what I should try to sell, Animal Husbandry fail rate seems a little high. I've failed to domesticate and capture much more often than I've had success so far.
I really hope we get to keep our villagers, I would hate to have to start over. So far the game looks really good I haven't come across any obvious bugs only some lag, but that's to be expected. As for suggestions I agree with many users that the herbalist job can be tedious, some way to mass harvest/plant would make things a lot easier.
currently all tabs are non-functioning and searches bring up 0 results. is this normal for new accounts? a guide(or direction to one) for newbies would be awesome
I think there needs to be a very obvious message when listing items under their sellback price in the stalls or make it a little clearer that the price next to the item is the sell back value.
Also the loading time for planting / harvesting seeds is ..really long, some sort of mass plant / harvest option would be great because several seconds to open on every step of it really bogs it down. (it adds up when trying to deal with a whole garden or two if you have multiple herbers)
So far, the game is pretty fun. A few suggestions:
One doctor visit a day is great, but villagers get sick several times a day. Just yesterday I used a visit only to get the same illness the next turn! Either nerf illnesses, allow "paid" doctor visits, or make potions buyable for a reasonable price.
Herbalist needs more variety with ingredients. As of right now, everything can be mastered in a day. Introduce new varieties of plants as ingredients to make potions, or for sale, crafting, etc.
Blacksmith is complex to the point it's overwhelming. Prices are super high as is, and buying 50 anvils just seems like a waste of money. I would focus more on materials like steels and such.
Explorer is a super fun, but seems to not yield anything particularly rare. Although in many respects Explorer needs to be nerfed, the main appeal of exploring dies down when there isn't anything worth exploring for.
Over all, these are just my personal thoughts, and I may be yet wet behind the ears, so correct me and give me tips if you think I'm wrong!
This game is loads of fun, very addictive, and a great way to meet all sorts of interesting furs (while the chat is functional), so thanks a lot for the opportunity to beta test and put in my own thoughts. :3
Oh, and PS, the site seems to be a lot more stable today, that's great to see
