Incoming Sales Tax

Furvilla is in the process of implementing a FurCash sales tax for the user shops. When a player sells an item to another player for FurCash, a sales tax of 5% will be removed from the purchase price, and the remainder will be deposited into the shop till as normal. The goal of this addition is to help sink small amounts of FurCash and ensure the strength of the currency. When calculating the tax, it will be 5% of the total, rounded down, with a minimum of 1 FurCash.
This change will be implemented in forty-eight hours or at 2:00 AM Furvilla Time on August 17th, so please be sure to alter your item prices if desired before that deadline.
In addition, the Moth Morphing Potion has been released into Olde Foxbury, and three new species colors are released -- Culpeo Fox, Long Eared Owl, and Osprey Raptor. We have also completed construction of the Trades page, which allows players to trade villagers, items, and currency freely. The link to the Trades page is located on the Town Hall.
You know quickly.
Great. Now how am I suppose to purchase the hundreds of tokens and coins for costumes?
I personally like the new trading system in progress, but I personally don't like the new tax system. Also, the new colors are nice, and quite interesting.
I like the tax idea myself, once the game really opens up it'll be useful! However I'm not sure how it'll be good right now, but I suppose we'll see.
I'd love to see a monkey villager!
I know everyone is talking about the economy and stuff, but is the moth morphing potion not working with the ability to choose the intended color with the alchemist yet?
I feel like people are just going to start using trades to get around this, causing this change to be ultimately pointless and serve no purpose other than to make players angry.
Perhaps you should consult the community and see what they think is the best course of action to take before implementing new rules that have the potential to completely change how the game is played?
oh great...sales tax...what was the economy again?
is this a joke??
please tell me this is a joke.
it ain't a very good one if it is.
i was always joking about furry taxes for the furry economy. Now its happening.
