Challengers have arrived!

Hey all! Just a quick update to let you all know that two new battlegrounds are available:
Challengers & Fierce Fighters.
We're experimenting with a new system with the Challengers battleground. The odds of receiving a Kitsune mini-pet should increase after each battle until it eventually drops for you. Once that particular Kitsune drops, you'll no longer receive this bonus. If all goes well, we'll use this system for future additions. 
Spooky.
Please Note:
While there is a small chance of a Kitsune dropping in the Fierce Fighters battleground, it does not use the new system.
Due to this system having a large amount of variance, there has not been a tremendous amount of testing. Please report any issues you encounter!
How do you find the Challenger battleground? I would love to be able to get one of the kitsune and I know my other half would as well

I've been battling in Challengers for days and haven't seen a single Kitsune. The odds don't seem to be piling up much. Also, given how hard those dudes are, they don't seem to give much XP.
At what level do the challenger battlegrounds appear?
How long are the Kitsunes going to be around for? Is it until Nov 1st?
Kinda dumb question, but...do challengers only drop loot if you win?
I was able to at first be able to beat some of the challengers but now suddenly I can't touch them. :/ So I don't know what I'm doing wrong now.
Almost 20 stamina regen potions through, and still haven't gotten a pet. Sure got a lot of food though. x.x
I have a level 16 warrior and can't beat a single challenger. lmao I'm so bad at the warrior career, how did I even get to level 16?
