Event Ending Soon!

Hi all! Just quickly letting you know what the current plans are regarding the conclusion of the event.
At noon Furvilla time tomorrow, map fragments will no longer drop. You'll also no longer be able to access your ship.
A week later, all materials & recipes related to the event will vanish, excluding plunder items, which you will no longer be able to convert into plunder points.
And finally, a week after that, the festival shop will close.

I wasn't able to upgrade my boat once. Was the hidden requirement for finishing my ship that I spend all my waking hours on Furvilla?
There's still Map Fragments coming from the Loot Caves, too.
I thought we weren't supposed to get stuff from our ships anymore? I just checked my ship and I'm still getting plunder.
I agree with a lot of other people, this was the most fun event so far! Even though I had an injured wrist so I couldn't participate as much as I otherwise could have (making how "constant" the events here are a little off putting) I was still able to get a good portion of the prizes. I couldn't get everything I wanted, but I wasn't expecting or trying to for the sake of my wrist.
I even managed to upgrade my ship twice!
Am I supposed to still be getting explorer driftwood drops? Also, my boat is still accessible.
This was such a fun event, thank you! It was really exciting gathering up the materials to build up the ships.
Heads up: While you can't get map fragments from the explorers, you still can from the warriors. I don't recommend or condone exploiting this.
