Shining and Shimmering
No reason to frown
Unique little stars
Floating down

Trees covered in this blanket
This wonderful snow
Little sprouts peeking out
Wanting to grow

Winter is ending
With all of its death
New things come
To take a deep breath

Into the world
Trees will be born
With their leaves unfurled

But this won’t happen yet
For spring must come

How will I know
What or when
Once I think though
The answer is clear

Spring will come
When the snow melts away
Spring will come
When the birds start singing
Spring will come
When tranquility falls
