Abandoned as an egg, and preserved under magic for many years, Horizon was not even 'born' until long after their species vanished into extinction. They spent her infancy in the ancient ruins of their species, lodged in what had become a swamp. One day, while still a child, they managed to open the seal on their ruins, and was finally able to leave. They were then found by her adoptive parent, and were raised to tame and fight beasts. They have returned to the ruins in which they were found, eager to try and learn what they are, and the history of their species.
